Me too. I realise it is a HUGE task but I am emigrating (can you emigrate back to your country of origin?) in 39 days and am reaching panic stage and would love to get another task completed.

What Christmas appeal? We missed the deadline for our fave christmas appeal..is this a MN thing?

The MN christmas appeal, started way back after the farepak hampers debacle.
There was a thread on it, aksing people for nominations for recipients and for people willing to donate also

Anyway, I wondered when the donations addresses would be coming out as I only have 28th and 5th december to do shopping .

I still have last years packed up as I didnt hear anything

bugger, had hoped to hear a bit earlier than that as I live in the Middle East and it is a nightmare getting things posted. Am in UK for two days next Monday and Tuesday and had hoped to have heard something by then

Perhaps it's worth you emailing MNHQ and asking if they could get your match sorted quickly because of the overseas issue MOS??

good point Baroque although I hate to nag them. I'm sure DS would far rather I nagged and he didn't have to do it again though. Last year my gift ended up being ELC vouchers (teenage boys don't have much imagination) and it would be nice to choose something myself.

I'm sure they won't see it as nagging - you're overseas - you need longer to get sorted.

Just email and ask them - they can only say no or yes (or bugger off )

Wow - never seen anything on this in all the time I've been on MN. Not even entirely sure how many years that is!

I'm guessing as the 'resident MNer from the ME' that will be me If you want to message me your address ilove I'll see what I can do. Am in USA at the moment and back to the UK tomorrow night en route to KSA but think I have a box back in the UK I brought back from KSA a few weeks ago that I could send. If not, I'll get some when I'm back in KSA next week.
