handcream is an esp good gift as our hands are washed many many times a day. A nice bottle of wine or a box of chocs always goes down well in my house. But tbh a gift is lovely but not expected, IYSWIM

I've never been given cash, boo hoo

I'm not a childminder and have never had one, but know that my brother gives his childminder cash for Christmas (an extra week's wages I think, which is very generous).

A voucher is always a very welcome present.
