Anyone been to the Xmas market in Frankfurt?

or know anything about it? or live in Frankfurt and can give me advice?
I really fancy going and have discovered Ryanair are doing £6 flights, so want to book something, spontaneously like...
which is quite scary as I'm not spontaneous at all
and Dh and I would normally think about it for a good year at least...
so, tips, advice, hand holding all gratefully received

Well I have but over 20 years ago so not very current info I'm afraid. I loved it at the time, great atmosphere and never quite enjoy the Manchester markets as much. But it might have been a novelty/age thing. If you can get £6 flights, I'd go for it! Hopefully someone with more recent experience will come along!
