i don't just mean the local travelodge either lol

somewhere that "does" christmas.
i had a look at local places but all way too much ££££ and wondered if any mumsnetters knew any little gems?

i am sick and tired of spending christmas day preparing food, clearing up, preparing more food, fighting the children into clothes, calming down hyperactive kids, preparing even more food....

i thought it'd be nice to go away and just have a peaceful christmas!

Yes, but only because we married on Dec 20th!

Bit soulless TBH. Wouldn't contemplate it with kids.

We haven't stayed over Christmas, but have doen the "Twixmas" period a few times with friends. We did it because we got amazing deals - like £40 per adult per night DBB, kids free Shock Dunno if those type of offers still exist.
