Argh.

Can't think of anything, they are both in their 50s and live in a small camper van so no room for 'stuff'.

I thought about a digital photo frame, as they miss not having all their photos around them, but where would you put it?!

tbh I'd buy them a gift card for the restaurant/coffee shop chain they prefer - that way it isn't stuff, and you know they will enjoy it

weblette · 10/11/2010 12:42

A voucher for a car valeting company

dweezle · 10/11/2010 13:33

Nice food or toiletries - it's stuff but will get used and therefore become less stuff!

Camper Van Cookbook?

ChippyMinton · 10/11/2010 19:07

A really soft throw or blanket, can be thrown over the seats, for bedding or general snuggling up.

LoveMyGirls · 10/11/2010 19:07

any of this any good?

serenity · 10/11/2010 19:19

Cinema Vouchers?

JGBMum · 10/11/2010 19:36

How about this?

bigchris · 10/11/2010 19:37

Air freshner

GeorgeWBush · 10/11/2010 19:54

thanks guys, excellent suggestion.

Am going to get the Camper van cook book I think, they both love their cooking.

Does their camper van have a good kitchen? Do they live in the camper all year? (nosey, I would secretly love to live in one but not more than 2 months at a time)

GeorgeWBush · 10/11/2010 19:59

yep all year. Kitchen has 2 rings, a small fridge, microwave and kettle.

We were all Hmm when they said they were off to live in it full time, but it's actually really nice, I might retire into one!

here

No, don't bother to thank me, it's a pleasude, honestly.

seeker · 10/11/2010 20:02

WTF is a pleasude?

expatinscotland · 10/11/2010 20:06

A huge cylinder of Calor gas.

zipzap · 11/11/2010 12:06

how about one of those solar recharger things that they can leave in the window and use to recharge things like mobiles, laptops, ipods and digital photo frames (not sure about the latter!)

They aren't huge and there's quite a big range of them now, but seem to get good press and would help them to recharge things without draining their battery which might be an issue if they live in a camper van?

PerpetuallyAnnoyedByHeadlice · 11/11/2010 13:48

thermal undies and socks might be good!

expatinscotland · 11/11/2010 14:53

All the modern campervans I've been in are incredibly warm.

MackerelOfFact · 11/11/2010 17:13

I know a couple like this of similar ages - in the past they were absolutely thrilled with this. Might be a nice accompaniment to the camper van cookbook! A solar shower also went down well one year.

ChippyMinton · 11/11/2010 20:14

Ooh ooh, I know just the thing - a pressure cooker.
