Lovely gifts for nursery staff?

Ds goes to a nursery - it's over 3's so 6 staff, that look after all of the children as opposed to "key workers" IYKWIM

They have been amazing since ds started there in may, and have really gone out of their way for us/him on many an occasion.

I would like to buy them all a special gift, or maybe a joint present but am lacking inspiration. Had thought of doing wee hampers for them all, nice cup, chocolates, candle/whatever, but to do 6 is going to be major work and could easily be very expensive, to make them look nice? Had also thought about local restaurant vouchers so they could go out for a nice meal after Xmas but wasn't sure if that was a bit presumptuous?

They are all 30-55ish if that makes any difference.

Just want to let them know how much I appreciate the good care they take of ds, it's like a second home for him

I buy wine for mine..and they love it! They get loads of chocs/biscs etc so they appreciate a bit of booze! I get the Asda 3 for 10 quid stuff so it costs me £20 for all 6 staff and for what they have done/do for my kids it is well worth it!

We get a crate of wine for ours, and ask for it to be shared to caterers etc as well. It seemed to go down well, they said they had chocs and biscuits so all they needed was the wine to go with it.

Had thought of wine, but wanted something a bit different, as a couple of them don't drink.

Don't mind spending unto £100, but don't tell dh Grin

How about something like this each for thier coffe/tea breaks with some lovely posh chocs or vouchers each.

Ooh, like the mugs!

Just adding that its not me that makes them!

I remember being given something similar when i work at a nursery. We all kept them in the staff room for out drinks :) It was nice that they were personalised and thought had obviously gone into them.

how abut making a hamper with the mugs in, nice coffe/tea/hotchoc/nice biccies and choccies? sort of like a "coffee break" hamper ...

Those mugs are fantastic, I have bought from this seller on a few occasions and they are fantastic. I'm thinking of ordering for DD's nursery nurses too this year as she is leaving for school.
