Which nintendo DS games for a 5 year old DD

Hiya We have bought DD a Nintendo DSI for christmas. We have one of the R4I card things for it and I have just been given a list of 4000 games that we can get downloaded for it. The problem is that I have no ideas which games she will enjoy.

Can any of you recommend games that your children enjoy please. I am at work so will check back later for any ideas.

A few to be going on with.
You will be surprised how quickly they pick up what to do..

Thanks for the tips i think she is a little young for it but she keeps asking to play on her friends.

Mario Kart and super mario bros, also perhaps horrid henry which my neighbours dd always borrows from ds when she comes over.

The pets ones get boring fast but if she likes playing with little pet shop type things she may enjoy.

Definitely get a couple of games for you when she's older. I suggest brain training and any of the prof layton. She may be able to do prof layton now but you will need to read the puzzles to her and help her a lot!

hannah montana, phineas and ferb, tinkerbell, cooking mama, any mario game

My DD loves the Littlest Pet Shop games, collecting the pets, dressing them and playing lots of mini-games. Plus if you have a friend with the same game the DS's talk to each other (somehow??).

The Tinkerbell games are also very good.

My DD loves using the Pictochat function of the DS to send me little messages and pictures, playing complete the sentence games etc.

My DD loves Peppa Pig, Tinkerbell, Princess and the Frog, Littlest Pet Shop, Dora/Diego/Dora's Puppy, Cooking Mama, Mario, Nintendogs, Tigers, Animal Crossing and any Animal Hospital sort of games :) xx

Mariokart absolute favourite in this house. Can make it a two player with a friend too.

Our DD & DS love Peppa Pig, Nintendogs, Mario Kart & Animal Crossing.

We bought DD (who is also 5) 'I Did It Mum' the other day and she's loving that too. It's very easy for her to understand as there are no long wordy bits to get through, unlike with lots of the other games. It's basically lots of mini games and quizzes, kind of brain training for v young children I suppose.

I was going to recommend the 'I did it mum' games too
