looking for one that dd and ds can share prefer wood and solidly made

any tips for best sort

We've got this one without the mound which is quite sturdy.

You can expand on it if it goes down well by getting the extension kit, and get all kinds of accessories too (trebuchet etc).

we've got this one - it's quite compact and folds up, so when it's not in use it doesn't take up much space. It's pretty sturdy, and came with half a dozen figures.
