Has this thread been done?
I am obivously looking for something for DH (he refuses to give me ideas, sigh).
He's into cycling (all sorts of cycling) and gadgets.

OP posts:

a leatherman?

JiggeryPoverty · 06/11/2010 19:29

I believe the traditional answer to such a question is ' a blow job'. You could wear a santa hat to make it seasonal.

HeroShrew · 06/11/2010 19:44

a wormery is not some kind of street slang for a blowie y'know, jiggery.

Simbacatlives · 06/11/2010 19:49

A high quality multi tool for bike

Bike lights

Wiggle vouchers

iheartdusty · 06/11/2010 21:30

wine

book

dvd

high-tech sports top for cycling

the ride journal

NoahAndTheWhale · 06/11/2010 21:32

What about an equally mid 30s DH who has a bike but rides it to work once in a blue moon. Likes weird films. Starts reading books and forgets about them. Loses keys regularly.

I've been married to him for 11 years - surely I should be able to think of something he would like Blush

tummytickler · 06/11/2010 22:01

I am getting mine a bushcraft course
here

also the usual boring stuff book/DVD

BornToFolk · 06/11/2010 22:07

DP wants a Bigtrak

Other than that, it's the usual selection of books/DVDs/xbox games...yawn!

MistsAndMellow · 06/11/2010 23:12

I was hoping for ideas for DD's teacher who is a man in his mid 30's. Not sure if his wife would appreciate me giving him a blow-job for Christmas.

Then again perhaps she would. One less thing to do etc Grin

DH is infuriatingly difficult to buy for although he has recently taken a liking to Superdry shirts.

Simbacatlives · 07/11/2010 00:56

Teacher- wine

WingDad · 07/11/2010 01:03

I do love a good book for christmas.

worm77daisy · 07/11/2010 02:38

My husband (35) would like and may get some of:

3D tv (in his dreams)
Blue ray DVD player
Apple tv
Crew clothing shirts
Gant jumpers
Diesel jeans
casual shoes
Hedge trimmer
Football training long sleeve shirt
Bike gadget speed distance thingyme
For our 21 month old DD to say I love you
For me not to get stressed with Christmas entertaining

It is interesting to read this list and think what kind of person he would come across as.

A stuffed badger?

Want2bSupermum · 07/11/2010 04:04

DH is in his 30s and we decided to do a date day for our christmas present this year (baby coming so funds are tight). In previous years I have gotten him tickets to see Liverpool (cop seats only) while we are visiting my family, artic monkeys when playing here in the US (Philly tickets were $20 each!), a game of darts with a world champion (they were in NYC so I took the train and bought the guy a few drinks), pig cufflinks and a whole hog (he loves pork so I got him the meat, some wood for smoking, casings and other bits).

ILoveGregoryHouse · 07/11/2010 04:32

yuno you made me laugh. And i've just had a c section so it hurt! Will now have hide thread.

OP, i think wine or a book token. Yawn. Sorry.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 07/11/2010 04:36

Sorry, book token is for the teacher, not op dh.

Tt
Hink my dh would be in aserious huff with a book token.

Deemented · 07/11/2010 06:02
