DD is 5, nearly 6. She mainly plays with her dolls and teddies (of which she has lots). She is not particularly into computer games or electronic gadgets, and has things like a bike and scooter. I don't want to buy her more toys that she might dismiss as babyish relatively soon (and she has enough anyway), but she does not yet seem ready for the next stage of toys (whatever that may be).
She has some sylvanians but does not play with them enough to justify buying more. She loves arts and crafts but already has a cupboard full (although we will get her some small crafty things).
She normally gets a biggish pressie and maybe some clothes from us, and a (large) stocking full of smaller presents from Father Christmas. I am sure we will manage the smaller presents, but can't think what to get for her main present - she seems to be at a bit of an in-between stage. I have tried asking but she just asks for more babies and teddies.
Any ideas? What do other girls that age like?
