My DS has his 2nd birthday in December as well as Christmas. Am stuck for ideas as he already has toys from his older brother. Any ideas welcome please.

DD will be 2 in Feb so Christmas is close to her birthday also. Only difference is no older sibling....but we do get lots of toys passed down from friends' older kids.
How about a wheelybug...great for scooting about indoors & burning off some of their energy when they can't go outside to play :) Got DD one for her bday last year but she's nearly too big for it already so wish we had got the bigger size one.
Santa's bringing her an indoor playhouse/tent type thing this year....for a boy, how about something like this?
Maybe even get some toy to encourage outdoor play, even if you know realistically it won't be used much 'til spring/summer... sandpit, swing, slide, trampoline, space-hopper, balls, skipping rope, that type of thing....but perhaps you already have all that from older DS?
How about some dressing up outfits that both can use? Vets, doctors/nurses, builder outfits & equipment etc...might encourage them to play together and role-play?
Hope this helps.

we are buying ds this for his birthday on nov 28th, so perhaps it would be a good xmas gift

We are in same position. DS2 only wants to play with DS1's toys anyway and has plenty of hand me down stuff.

I am thinking nice pyjamas and maybe a lovely picture for his room, something for his shelf.

I have contemplated wrapping some of DS1's toys in the loft just so it looks like Santa has brought him something toylike too Blush

ds is a 3rd child but has 2 older sisters so he plays with alot of girls stuff so we are definately going for the boy toys for xmas this year.

New accessories to go with existing sets e.g. Duplo, wooden train, happy land?

Scooter (if he doesn't have on)?

Easel?

Step 2 do a motorcycle ride on toy (it's called 'free wheeler motorcycle' I think) which looks good (although no experience of it). It's available on their website. Sorry, I can do links, but they're a bit of a faff from my phone.
