we are stony broke and are looking for bargains for our children's Christmas pressies (yes I know, so is everybody else)

but sometimes people link to hilariously good bargains on here, and I just wondering if anyone is currently sitting on any - if so, please spill!

half price toys in sainburys tomorrow.boots are doing 3 for 2 and if you buy today or tomorrow and spend £50 you will get 1200 points (worth another £10 pressie)

you could try ebay searching near your postcode (e.g. 5 miles away). Items that are collect only don't get as many bidders. I just got some playmobil at about half the going rate because no-one else bid on it (wasn't new of course)>
NCT sales great for kids toys, often puzzles etc unused! There might be one near you before xmas?

ASDA have a half price toy sale on and other items not in the half price thing are 2 for £20.

Half price on all toys in Sainsbo's today. Lots of lego, playdoh and toy story stuff if that floats your boat.

Argos have loads of toys at 2 for £15, have already bought a bargaintastic robosapien and playdough selection for my nephews.
