Clothes for 11 - 12 year olds

Hi all - DH's daughter lives with her mum in Ghana and I am currently struggling to buy her Christmas presents. I have bought some toiletries, stationery and a soft toy, but we also always sell clothes. The difficulty is that I have only met DSD a handful of times, it is very hot in Ghana so summer clothes only, her mum only likes her to dress very very conservatively and I am not very clear on where is good to buy clothes for DSD's age (DD only 18mo!) as many clothes places tend to stop kids clothes at about 10yo. Any help greatly appreciated!

They had some lovely clothes for girls in M&S today. We got DD (11) a couple of outfits. They had a half price sale on some summer outfits which were no good to us but sounds like they would be ideal for you!

I guess if you are sending them to Ghana, light-weight, floaty outfits would be best. Its so easy to buy for girls, poor DS didn't get anything today!

Monsoon do girls' clothes up to age 13 that I could imagine might fit the bill - and might not break the bank if you can find some in a sale.

Mini Boden also - and same applies to sale - good luck!

Thank you - off to search!

Skelet I mean conservative in both senses of the word, meaning that it can be rather hard to find things in the right style that fit!

New Look do a teenage range too - t-shirts might be ok.

Look in Gap too for tops etc.

Yes our local Gap has lots of summer stuff still in there at low sale prices. You could try their website if you don't have one locally.

Mini Boden and new look are still selling off some summer stock.
