Where can I buy a Christmas jumper or top for a 9 year old boy?

I have fab ones for my younger two from Gap (hand me downs). Lovely red jumpers with snowmen on the front. But I can't find anything for my older son. I need it soon for the Xmas photo.

John Lewis often have some good stuff

Would he fit this top

Next or Marks have nice woollen stripy jumpers.

John Lewis has fab tanktops.

blametheparents · 24/10/2010 19:55

Or could just go with a red sweater

IlanaK · 24/10/2010 19:57

He might, but it is short sleeved and not really what I had in mind, but thank you for looking.

I had some great ones from John Lewis one year with reindeer on, but they just don't seem to be doing any this year. Neither does Gap from what I can see.

I know what you mean. JL was my first thought cos I was sure I had seen them last year, maybe they only have them in store?

IlanaK · 24/10/2010 19:59

Stripey won't do it, or plain either. I need an actual picture on it. Snowman, reindeer, christmas tee, etc.

do you know anyone who could knit him one? my mum always used to knit us jumpers at christmas, i remember one year having my little pony, and another year, a teddy gazing at a snow scene through a window

IlanaK · 24/10/2010 20:01

Oh I wish I did! But alas no.

where about do you live? im sure my mum would be happy to do him one, but it would depend how much you want to pay x

IlanaK · 24/10/2010 20:10

Thank you for the kind offer. I am in London, but I was hoping to get one this week as I want to get the christmas photo taken so I can order the christmas cards. Maybe I need to go to Westfield and actually look in the shops rather than online.

Will your 9yo boy wear a Christmas jumper?

I think that my 8yo girl would protest, so am amazed that you can get him to wear one.

IlanaK · 24/10/2010 20:24

Yes he will. He asked me if I could get him one with a reindeer on it.

IlanaK · 24/10/2010 21:20

GingerCursedEeeee · 24/10/2010 22:03

This is fab and £20 - sound reasonable?
