How to teach kids about Christmas

Sorry if I'm totally lacking in all imagination however I have a 3 year old and I'm wondering how I teach him about Christmas. Both the Christian values and story but also the family/present thing?

Any ideas/stories etc most welcome.

Cherry - Absolutely planning on doing that that but our one isn't until 23rd Dec so wondering what to say in meantime - perhaps there are some books i can read him?

MDS - hysterical, can't imagine that they would have slept well that night if you had read them Soddom and Gomorrah.

Usborne Children's Bible sounds great - I'm free this arvo so i'll go and have a look in a book shop.

I've got this for advent - it looks fab and it's much less expensive from here than anywhere else (GLTC have it at twice the price!!)
