Need some help with adult stockings

[hgrin] childishly tittering at own thread title

Owing to extreme lack of funds I am doing stocking type presents for my Mum and SF from DD and I this year.

Mum's will be a home-made pinny, some second hand books and a jokey cd. I'd like some more things and ideas for presentation, she like earrings, cooking, France, Strictly ([hgrin]) and wine.

SF is getting a gardening theme and having his in a lovely bucket. I have so far a home-made kneeler and some twine and seeds. He loves gadgets. He already gardens so has trowels etc already.

Any bright ideas? Limit to funds obviously and must be available online if at all possible as there are no shops in Devon. I'm really looking for another few things for each of them, costing a few pounds, useful and lovely. Not much to ask?

Deffo on the list. We don't really do smellies so they're out (sadly) but a miniature is a good plan.

other things would be bottles or boxes of plant food, maybe bird feeders, hand warmers, nice biccies

what about something like this for your SF

www.amazon.co.uk/Scottish-Fine-Soaps-Gardeners-Therapies/dp/B001E42TPA/ref=sr_1_cc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1287998704&sr=1-1-catcorr

they do a few different things in the range & you can also get stuff like this in some garden centres if you've got something like dobbies near you.

How about doing a tea tray for both of them. Maybe put some nice tea / coffe & nice mug each & some nice biccies. Possibly something like this for your SF for in the garden, or a thermos mug.

www.amazon.co.uk/Outdoor-Mug-The-Lawn-Ranger/dp/B000KG8GQY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1287998812&sr=8-1-catcorr

or this one with a radio

www.amazon.co.uk/Gardeners-Anti-bug-Garden-Radio-Gift/dp/B002ST9F2U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1287998812&sr=8-2-catcorr

You could get some little cellophane bags & put in a scone or muffin mix which they'd just have to add egg/butter to & print nice label with the recipe on for them just to pop in the oven.

& how about sticking a couple of miniatures in for your sf to warm him up after gardening & a couple mini bottles wine for your mum to have while watching strictly? :o

If you get your DD to help I'm sure it'll mean even more.
