I have reposted this to see if I have more luck in this topic;

Has anyone seen these? Are they all hard (their heads for example)? Fly by night or to be played with?

I really like the look of them for me DD but they are quite dear and I'm not sure if they are just a fad?

I havn't seen them in the flesh - have seen the TV ad, and can't decide if they are cute or a bit scary (have you seen Coraline?)

I think they are quite new over here - there are a few reviews on amazon.com that may help you.

tummytickler · 20/10/2010 11:02

I have been looking at these too, my 5 year old seems quite taken with them, but have not seen any in the shops.
I wonder if they may be hard to get hold of nearer christmas.
I am struggling to think of things for dd, so i may just bite the bullet and buy her one, as she does love dolls.
Will be interested to har of anybody has one and it has been a success!
It annoys me that they are at least £25, and then it is another £15 each for outfits Shock.
It is still cheaper than the playmobil l victorian mansion, which is what dd has actually asked for and almost certainly wont be getting as too expensive Grin

IfYouCouldWouldYou · 20/10/2010 13:53

Asda have had them for ages, I first saw them in August and went in the other day and have been reduced to £20 from £25. HTH

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 20/10/2010 20:26

Thanks everyone.

I think Coraline is partly why I like them!

Will check out Asda...

oooh - off to Asda (or maybe online as my nearest Asda is about 20 miles away!).
Thanks IYCWY

Marne · 21/10/2010 10:15

The entertainer had them online last night, i'm not sure if they still have them in stock today.

tummytickler · 21/10/2010 10:33

There are so many i cannot choose!

Lilyloo · 21/10/2010 21:01

I have got dd the one with the little mouse as she has asked for a doll and a toy mouse for xmas so kills two birds !!!!

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 21/10/2010 23:16

What are they like Lilyloo?

OP posts:
IfYouCouldWouldYou · 23/10/2010 23:46

Glad i could help Smile

Would you believe it ? A few Hours after i posted DD anounced she would like one for christmas and mentioned it again yesterday.

So i popped into Asda today to get her one as i didn't want to wait and find they were impossible to get hold of, like last year and those friggin hamsters (that haven't been played with since January!!).

She asked for one with pink hair but there are about 4 with pink hair, so chose the one with the cat. I personally like the one with the blue hair.

I don't know if this will get discarded after christmas or not will have to wait and see.

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 27/10/2010 11:56

Did you get the one with the cat IYCWY?

I got the one with the owl in the end, I couldn't find the cat one anywhere.

They are called Bitty Button dolls in Ireland too, which explains the trouble I had finding them!

Check out the Very website.

www.very.co.uk/bitty-buttons-doll---crimbs/786315603.prd?cm_mmc=fp_google--toys--dollsandaccessories-_-UN79215BittyButtonsdollcrimbs&browseToken=/q/un79215

This site has stock and they're £25 each.

They are already stocking them on Ebay at £34.99, stating that they're out of stock everywhere in the UK, so I'd buy now while you can.

huffythethreadslayer · 27/10/2010 12:08

And there's one left with a cat on Amazon for £29.99.

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 27/10/2010 16:18

Thanks huffy Smile

Toys r us had loads on Sunday. They scare me!!!

huffythethreadslayer · 27/10/2010 23:11

Wow...and they're only £19.97 on Toys R Us at the moment. And they seem to have the full range too.

I'd still be tempted to buy them quick, while you can! :)

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 28/10/2010 00:41

Mostly out of stock Sad

OP posts:
HotchpotchHoney · 28/10/2010 19:08

toys r us had tonnes on friday and monday here too, i brought dd two, one with orange hair and one thats in its pyjamas.
dd who is 4 and half has been asking for them so hopefully she will be happy on christmas day.
i didn;t know they did outfits though.

tummytickler · 29/10/2010 22:09

I ordered the pyjama one for dd from the Entertainer - it came yesterday. I might get her another one and some clothes, but I have a feeling the will be one of the sell out toys this year (I panic bought on this assumption anyway!)

mememe30 · 29/10/2010 22:14

be careful that 'the other mother' doesn't get you!!!!

IfYouCouldWouldYou · 31/10/2010 11:54

Just caught up with this thread,
zen yes got the one with the cat, i was reading elsewhere on the net that the red and white one with the horse was quite difficult to get hold of, our Asda had that also.
But the one with the red bird ~ Dot Starlight, is the elusive one that nobody can find anywhere.

The doll i got is also branded Bitty Buttons But some were Lalaloopsy so best to search for both names.

I have heard Tesco stores stock them but none in my nearest shop. Went to another Adsa store yesterday but they didn't have any.

I was tempted to buy another as i really like them but don't want to waste my money if DD loses interest in it. So am just keeping an eye out to help others in thier search.

warmandcosyhellokitty · 16/11/2011 16:50

i have gone a bit mad Blush

got mine from entertainer

mini lalaloopsy bus, ferris wheel, treehouse and extra little dolls

have got dds a big doll each have bought one in pyjamas and one in farm dungarees
and a crazy hair one each

noyouhavehadawee · 16/11/2011 17:19

saw these in smyths toys tuther day - looke dok though dont think my 9 yr old would be impressed lol! they were reduced to 18.99.

Lilyloo · 16/11/2011 21:02

Well have to say they are cute but dd has hardly played with hers from last year. Ironically she has asked for he silly hair one which she won't be getting.

sadmum1000 · 17/11/2011 10:38

My DD wants the treehouse one - anyone got that and is it any good? Last year I bought her a peppa pig rocket and the plastic was so cheap and it kept falling apart so i've been dithering about the treehouse for weeks. I've seen lots of the dolls in the entertainer btw
