Also Delia's Winter Collection. We have her Pears baked in Marsala wine for pudding every Christmas Eve. And the Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding is out of this world (but immensely rich and calorific!) Her recipes are very reliable and consistently turn out well.

I adore her books. Have made loads from the Christmas book, both the food and the flowers sections. Her party ideas are especially excellent.

The Nigella one is my favourite. (I've even had to buy the same decorations and twinkly lights and what have you. )
