DS was 7months at his first Christmas. I bought him cheap stacking cups and a bath book and he loved them for his stocking fillers.

Other ideas- chunky little cars, small board books (like the Little Library box sets), squeezy bath animals.

nappies
cotton wool
baby wipes
shampoo
spoons for weaning

Weaning spoons and plastic bowl, will be good timing for when weaning starts.
Maybe some chocolate coins, which you can eat!

Avantia · 09/10/2010 10:30

One of those christmas baubles with his name on? Can't remember where you get them but you could google.

Put a cardboard book in a sock for dd & a bib

redgecko · 09/10/2010 10:59

For our 6 month old we got stacking cups (best toy ever - still keep 16mo DS occupied for ages), wooden letters for his door, one of those rain shaker things from ELC and a couple of board books. All things we would have probably got anyway. I thought his first Christmas would go completely over his head, but he loved all the sparkly lights, wrapping paper and Christmas dinner!
