Hi

I've got loads of ideas for presents for DD but I am so indecisive and can't decide which ones to get her.

So from the list below, what would you go for? I'm looking to get only 2-3 of the things from the list.

ELC Till and Shopping Basket
ELC Sing a Long CD Player
Doctors Case
Tea Set
Dolls Crib or Highchair
Toy Washing Machine, Kettle, Toaster etc
Leapfrog Junior Tag Reading System
Happyland Princess Castle
Dressing up box

Thanks!

if your little girl is into dressing up and likes fairy tales , i suppose you could get the happyland princess castle and the dressing up box

but if she is into dolls, you could pick up a few plain dolls from many shops and then you will have more money to buy clothes for the dolls along with the dolls crib.

little girls get board of tills so there is no point in buying them.

But the cd player will be a big hit for her!

"little girls get board of tills so there is no point in buying them."

I disgree with this Smile

My nearly 3 year old DS has a till and lots of play food and he and his female cousin (6 months older) love to play shops. He got it for his 2nd birthday and it's had a lot of use since.

I would get the tea set - my DD has one of these from ELC, she's 2.6 and she's had it for a while but still loves it.

mummynoseynora · 06/10/2010 12:03

my dd (3.9) has

tea set - loves
cd player at preschool - loves
doctors set - lives in!
Till - likes but a waste really, only uses the mic!
loves dressing up stuff

Thanks for your replies.

The thing is I think she would probably love all of them! If only money and space weren't an issue.

Hope you've already got one of the Muller Little Stars 20% off vouchers for ELC then!

I'd go for dressing up box (I'm presuming this is a box with dressing up clothes in it rather than just a box to keep them in) and the tea set, based on my dds and what has been most popular with them for the longest time.

peanutsmuggler · 06/10/2010 16:37

Oh yes 20% off voucher at the ready!

I'll probably get a tea set and doctors case since they shouldn't cost too much and then I'm leaning towards the CD player as the main present, hmmm I'll probably change my mind though.

My DD will be 2.5 at xmas and the grandparents are getting her this :

dressing up Plenty of tat to dress in!

Id say Happyland is always a safe bet :)

thisiswhataluv · 06/10/2010 18:26

my dds are 2 and 3 and i think they are far too young for a till...
i also think cd player and leapfrog tag is too old for them aswell
iv got them a doctors case to and a nurses outfit
an blackboard/easel from elc
dressy up outfits and shoes
books

second happyland - my dds love this, as well as chunky lego Smile

Just wanted to say (I have an almost 3 year old).

We got a teaset from POUNDLAND and its great and she loves it. Plays with it daily.

For christmas, I have got her some dressing up stuff (Princess shoes, featherbowers etc) from "99P STORE!"

Just a couple of ideas to keep costs down and allow her to get more! Grin

Teaset is my daughters favourite thing along with the velcro food that ELC sell (although I bought mine from Ebay)

CDMforever · 08/10/2010 21:28

I'm going to be buying my DD aged 2.2 the Happyland pink castle. She has most of the other fairy things and LOVES them all! They've got 20% off at the mo too.
Would say that the Tag reading system may be a little bit too old unless she is incredibly advanced of course!
