What are you giving the 7/8 year old ds / boys you know

What are you giving your 7/8 year old ds, or other boys you know of the same age, because we are pretty stumped and looking for ideas of big and small gifts.
Ds birthday is 4 days before Christmas too, so doubly stressful!

My DS will be 8 on 20th December so I am already buying stuff.

There are a couple of Wii ganes he wants too.

Lego, ds1 loves it. He's 7 in a few weeks and getting more lego for his birthday and also for Christmas. He really adores the sets and building them all, he's really good at them too and it's the only thing he will actually sit and have patience with.

My son hates lego and sports and has never played with an action figure in his life (although he loves teddys) ! He is 8 next week and he will be getting:

Top Trump cards
Massive map of the world (he is obsessed)
Map of the world snap cards
Pens and pencils with his name on
A fractions calculator
Books
CD
A special addition monopoly (loves board games!)
Cludo (a friends little sister accidently ruined his one last year)

Glow sticks
wii /ds game ...and a teddy

seems a bit boring written down!

My ds will be 8 in November and on his wish list is:

The entire HM Forces range
The entire Ben bloody 10 range
Power Rangers
10 different science kits (including one that makes slime!)

Lego, lego and more lego. There are some great sets on the lego website and if he is into Star Wars, you can buy lego magnets which have mini figures attached. A good way of getting the mini figures without having to buy one of the large sets. Great stocking fillers.

Also, lego do a build your own programme which DS is working his way through - do design online, then you order it and it comes in a box with instructions.

They are launching an online multi-player game, so we may get that for DS.

Just realised that I know too much about lego .
