Should I be falling over myself to take advantage of the 3 for 2 offers?

We are feeling the pinch this year and so I need to be very careful with my budget.

However, I just can't seem to get organised enough to take advantage of offers before they expire. For example, I have just noticed one in Argos- 2 for 3 on all toys. It expires today though.

I just dont feel Christmassy doing it all so early.

I'm being silly right? I need to kick myself and decide what to buy all the children on my list before the offer ends right?

Well the thing about 3 for 2 offers is that you can end up buying just for the sake of it. It's only a good deal if you would have been buying the things anyway - that's the way I think of it so as not to spend money needlessly. It's so easy to get carried away because you think you're going to get some amazing offer.

Boots and M&S have good 3:2 offers every year and they've not started yet. Yes, you've missed the argos one but still plenty deals coming up.

I've made a start already but no choice this year.

Boots 3 for 2 has very much started!

There will be lots of offers between now and xmas, I wouldn't be in a great rush. Argos normally start to do 25% off a particular toy range each week in the lead up to christmas which can work out better than a 3 for 2 if you only really wanted 2 items in the first place.

I tend to make a list and then keep an eye on hotukdeals.com kids section. Generally a deal will come up on it sooner or later before xmas. Also worth making a wish list on amazon and keeping an eye on prices on that as they will drop periodically too.

Tesco have some half price toys at the moment too.

You can usually find a 20% voucher or code for elc too.
