Good evening Christian mumsnetters,
I am posting this as I need your prayers. I am going through the most stressful and difficult period of my life. I don't want to post much information but my husband is in hospital and it is more serious than I thought and I knew it was bad to begin with. I am alone with my children. I can't be with him in hospital. We have family in Europe but not the UK. I know Christ is with me as I type this. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. I would deeply appreciate your prayers tonight and over the coming days. Thank you 🙏

Good morning, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It means alot.

God is good all the time! Through the highs I will praise Him and through the lows I will praise Him! Christ is with me, He will never leave me. My prayers are answered!! All praise and glory to God in the highest! Husband is still in hospital but improving. Thank you God! Thank you mumsnetters for your prayers.

Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart overflowing with gratitude and praise. Thank You for hearing my cries and graciously answering my prayers. In Your perfect wisdom and unfailing love, You have looked upon my needs and granted me Your divine help.
When I was burdened, You gave me peace; when I was uncertain, You provided guidance. Thank You for Your endless mercy and for showing me once again that no prayer goes unheard by You.

Thank You Lord for the kindness and encouragement You have provided through the online Christian Mumsnet community. I am grateful for their prayers, support, wisdom, and compassionate words during times when I needed comfort and guidance. Thank You for using them as instruments of Your love and care. Bless them and their families abundantly, strengthen their faith, and reward their kindness. May the fellowship we share continue to glorify You and be a source of hope, encouragement and blessing to all who seek Your help.

May this moment of grace strengthen my faith and draw me closer to You. Help me to never take Your blessings for granted, and give me the grace to serve You faithfully all the days of my life.

Thank you @Thegreatestoftheseislove 🙏. Having a little moment of reflection...thinking about people in the Bible faced with great trials. Personally this is the greatest trial of my life (and like everybody I've had my fair share!). I feel this is all God's plan and you know what's amazing is, I feel more peaceful today than I ever have. I feel closer to God. I know He is right by my side and it is so comforting. I feel closer to Him than ever before. I feel more dependent on Him than ever before and it brings me to tears in a good way! On paper my situation is pretty dire but by God's grace alone, I am prepared to face it head on. I am in God's hands. There is nothing to fear.

Very different details but similar circumstance, I could have written that myself @Ipsevenenabibas and I feel exactly the same. Perfect love drives out all fear 🙏 We may stumble in our human weakness, but He is our steadfast Rock and our Redeemer whatever this world may throw at us. Thank you for your uplifting and edifying words.

I find joy wherever it can be found in God's creation: today at work I was joined by two beautiful small dragon flies just going about their business as they sort of floated through the open door looking for somewhere to rest awhile.

Your post gave me goosebumps @Thegreatestoftheseislove. I am sorry you face difficult circumstances too, but it is beautiful that your faith in God, your personal relationship with Christ and the perfect love God has for you and all His children gives you strength and comfort. What a gift!

Like you I find joy where I can and I have always felt deeply connected to God when I connect with nature. I would've appreciated the dragonflies too! When my DH was very ill a few years ago (might not survive) I know I leaned very heavily into the arms of God. I know He held us close. And I have absolutely no idea how people who don't believe get through such trials.

I have had that thought many times too! I think as Christians we are taught to walk through life with humility; our faith is a gift given by God, not a personal achievement. Let us be thankful!
