Amen! Sugar fast (again - hoping to stick with it!) and following the Lectio 365 lent series for my readings.

I follow Lectio 365 too.

I got a little Lent book of psalms and no cake for me. Will prayer more and try to get to Mass more often during the week.

It's so lovely, isn't it? I think this lent series is going to be good.

Mass this morning was absolutely packed and it made me so happy to see! I've just had a jacket potato with salad. I can't pretend I haven't missed my usual meat serving! But it is only a tiny sacrifice so I am happy to do it! Have a good evening all 🙏

I have been cast out of my spiritual home so I am very sad about that.
But I will spend 30 minutes each day doing a craft activity and listening to a prayer podcast to stay close to Jesus.

I hope that you all have a meaningful lent, I did attend a service on Wednesday which I do like.

I think that I will be quite reflective during this time and also will listening to sermons on from the church and may be others on this theme of Lent and Easter. I like saving the transcripts of these sermons and then reading over them again myself and I take them in better this way and it is better for my learning to.

I've signed up to the C of E Lent emails. It's nice to have a short time of reflection first thing, and something to focus on through the day.
