Hope some of these help, I like them all. I hope that your family feels better soon.
Galatians 6:2 speaks to us also about the need to support fellow Christians.
As Christians we should build each other up and encourage each other as said so clearly in (1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Psalm 139
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
Psalm 104
This helps me with routine about appreciating food and how God requires this for his creation.
"The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God. The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens. Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening."
Isaiah 43
But now, this is what the Lord says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
Acts 17:28
And he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being.
Psalm 51
This can help with forgiveness of ourselves.
Jeremiah 1
The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
God's promise for his people-
Jeremiah 29:11-13-
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Psalm 72
May he defend the afflicted among the people. For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy
I also like 2Kings 2:11 as it depitcs God being on wheels. God is perfect regardless, he is complete perfection.
Genesis 1 2:27
For you were made in my image/likeness. Being made in God's image reflects our dignity and value and the respect each of us is due to each created as we are; also reflecting the responsibility we have to care for the creation. Being born of Spirit and we can be unified to the spirit of God through baptism. Also, it means to me having some of the attributes of God and the ability to love and care for others and the ability to do good as God does as well.
II Corinthians 12
My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made in weakness. Most gladly therefore, will I gather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore, I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches..for Christ's sake when I am weak I am strong-
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths."
Ephesians 1
11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
Philippians 3:13-14
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 37
"They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in they days of famine they shall be satisified".
Revelation 21:4
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away."
Do not be afraid of the opportunity of change when you see it-
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
" Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

In Pia Matthew's book God's Wildflowers documents 141 Saints, Blessed and Venerable, who experienced health challenges ranging from mental to physical pain whilst serving God in holiness. As the author states in this book. Illness doesn't prove holiness and neither destroys or causes holiness. Furthermore, although illness may make things challenging at times, illness doesn't cause these Saints, Blessed and Venerable, to be abandoned by God.
I think illness in regards to autism etc can be taken to be like being overwhelmed etc.
Helen Keller
"I thank God for my handicaps, for, through them, I have found myself, my work, and my God."
