Hi everyone. I decided to write this today and share it with you. I have been observing that some people seem to be struggling with love.

I would like to read your thoughts on love as well and how we can take notes and help each other.

Hope this helps someone.

Hi everyone, sometimes something seems to be going on in the world for some people. Some people seem at unease with knots and hairline cracks. For any offer of help of consolation they will be nervous and not know your good intentions and be scared to accept them and not knowing that you want to do good to them. They may have been hurt by the poor experiences of others and not know how to trust a genuine human being. Some may be also seem scared or frightened to say something wrong and to be judged and fear judgement.
People are misreading others intent and shutting doors in some people’s faces of offer of help and perhaps being too proud to take the offer of help.

At times it may seem that a brother may be taking a brother up to the council for judgement, which we need to reject in our Biblical faith and lives as it tells us."Family members, including brothers, will betray and turn against each other due to conflict and persecution for the faith, as stated in ( Matthew 10:21.).

People I think have been hurt from the last many years of unsettlement in our world as well. They may feel that they do know what is going on in the world. We sure have experienced many hardships.

Love seems missing somewhat in the world which is the missing ingredient for some though they appear still full of love. For some they have lost their flavour and salt that we need as Christians. and with them it may seem seasonally bitter at times. The pain of the afflicted resides on us in sways whilst God’s grace is on us as well, God spirit gentle soothes us. Remember this is God’ is the creator and we are in his capable hands as always.

We need to see love again on each our bodies and speak it,.

You are loved by God.

Let us be loving to each other though with Jesus’ Christ’s spiritual law and values on us and resting on our souls. Let’s pick up our banner and remember to do good to mankind always in an unrested world and our vows are with God, who always does good.

Hold on in sorrows and doing good always your aim. You may fall naturally as humans at times but you tried and try again, being angry for a moment we do as humans which is written in Psalm 30, Only Jesus is the Perfect One and Complete one who will come again (1 Corinthians 13:10 ). Remain upright and righteous as Job till the end.

Love again, start small and remember your family network and the true things in your life. Smile again and give each others blessing and grace for being human in a difficult time.

At the end remember it is Jesus Christ-the right gatekeeper with the keys to heaven and the door to eternal life. Your magnet is to heaven where you are linked and placed but are on earth now.

You can speak of your sorrows to if you need to and gently rock to ease them and your sorrows will ease. Jesus told us to help another in need, remember this and love God above all as our first commandment. Try not though to burden others with things of sin, asking them to do what is a wrongdoing to benefit for your gain. Do not hold onto petty things and unnecessary things of worry as the Bible tells us.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow (Matthew 6:34 ) (Hebrews 13.. 1-8, 15.16) " My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14, 27-29).

I remind you in all this- Hold on, things are going as they should in the world and you are where you are supposed to be as we know (Acts 17:28) .

Remember to Trust in his understanding and not your own as the Book of Proverbs gently remind us (Proverbs 3:5-6) "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths."

Remember to in all difficulties the bearer of the Yoke and pain of sin is Jesus Christ. Give yours to him and let go of yours and walk to him to be in his light and love on your bridge to him. A new you is his promise in him always as the Book of Corinthians tells us-

" Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" To a world under distress. I wish you all health and love and sustenance by God’s power and divine grace. (2 Corinthians 5:17).

You are bought free through Christ alone. With Jesus Christ for our remission and washing away of our sins we can have God's grace and mercy.

God's promise for you remains as always written for you-
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) and remember God has plans to as well prosper you in this world as spoken in Jeremiah (Jeremiah 29:11-13).

On that rocky boat to life eternal. "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; When you pass through the waters, I will be with you" This is a passing through (Isaiah 43).

A rose and petals are on the floor.

In this time why not surround yourself in good things for his remembrance to and be patient for now and remain steadfast

Attend church to if you can to withstand affliction and sorrows.

@Justmerach I would like to read your thoughts on love as well and how we can take notes and help each other.

I think my user name says it all. 😊.

There is a good article from CSLewis in the link below: "Today, love is overused and undervalued at the same time. We love everything from various foods to cars, from movies to retailers, from people to God himself. We may not consciously distinguish one use of love from another, in part because our speech is becoming more and more informal, but it’s important to be intentional about the differences. As we know, Scripture tells us that love is the highest attribute. So let’s look at the four types of love found in the Bible, and that Lewis helps to draw out in The Four Loves, published in 1960, ..."

As we (ie, born again in Spirit and Truth disciples of Christ) are in the world, it is very important to be certain and specific of what type of 'love' we are talking about. When it comes to our Faith, we are talking, usually, of agape - the unconditional love that is not understood by those who do not yet know our Saviour as Lord and Master.

Thank you Thegreatestoftheseislove, that was a good read your post and I will read the link and I am sure it will do me good. That reminds me agape when I was in school. I hadn't remembered that for a long time and I needed to hear that myself so it is really helpful.

I will add this to-

With the Holy Spirit's guidance we also can importantly grow in the Fruits of the Spirit which, with these fruits we can use them to model ourselves on as Christians (Galatians 5: 22-23). The Fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
You can pray to the Holy Spirit who can help you with love-

https://companionscross.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Prayers-to-the-Holy-Spirit.pdf

If somebody wrongs you Jesus told us to forgive them seventy-seven times" (Matthew 18:21-22) so that God can forgive your sins through Jesus Christ.

God showed that he has divine love to for his creation through Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:3)

This video on the Fathers Love Letter which is online works well with this topic as well about finding about how God in all his attributes loves us.

I will also add to a rector at my church did a gorup over Easter called how to learn to love ourselves more as Christians and i recorded it and made it into a video. She is a trained counsellor also.

Hi everyone, I just saw this and have to add it in as well.-

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres" (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

@Justmerach 1 Corinthians 13 - those verses are the ones I share most with just-about-to-be-marrieds. A good reminder when you're tearing your hair out because yet again he's not put down the toilet seat, or s/he's forgotten your wedding anniversary.

I am a non demontiational Christian who was baptised as a Catholic who went to Catholic schools to 19. I find solace at times to go to my childhood catholic mass in the weekday. I was going to go today to one of the two I attended as a child. I looked on the newsletter for this week and they had the message about love and extreme trials was in the newsletter. I liked it and saved it. I have cropped it and attached it as I cannot find it online.
I really needed to see this today myself. Love can help to heal over hurt.
