Hi everyone, I decided to create this post about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and protection. I can say that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit can support some Christians with dealing with spiritual attacks . The Gifts of the Holy Spirit, one of its roles is that it can provide protection. We are living through difficult times and it has helped me so therefore I am sharing it with you.
The soundtrack of the gifts of Holy Spirit launches in an attack some may be comedy to you. It has stuff like your a star in Heaven and missiles can go of. I didn't think it was humble enough your a star in the heaven, but now it cracks me up. I thought it was God in Heaven doing the missiles etc and I thanked him for being such a showman and it was the gifts itself I found out later. Still the same as always.
Spiritual attacks can happen to any Christian whether a minister or lay person in the church, it is not their fault. It does not discriminate and you have to pray for deliverance from God from it and which the Holy Spirit can intercede on. The Holy Spirit is there to support you to get to the Kingdom of God. So don't feel bad if you have a spiritual attack. It can be cast out. The Beatitudes mention that Christians can receive persecution and this can be a part of Christian duty. The fact that you were selected for the spiritual attack in fact shows that you are considered to be a Christian as well.
To deal with a spiritual attack I would start with reading the Our Father in Matthew 6 and like Jesus said say- Get thee Hence Satan. (Matthew 4:10) and he also said come out to the demon (Matthew 8:16). I would recommend Psalm 51 for cleansing and Psalm 80 for urgent redemption and Psalm 91 to fight spiritual warfare. I also recommend Psalm 140 to help with the spiritual attack and Psalm 27. There is also Psalm 24 for people dealing with Spiritual gifts. Perhaps can also contact a church minister. When you secure it, perhaps a thanksgiving prayer or testimony to God could be considered.
Obtaining some Holy water in church might help, you often can get these at Catholic Church's usually and you can take a small bottle and fill it and asking for a blessing to may be helpful. The Holy Eucharist and blood of Christ will help to and that can be received in many church's.
Spiritual gifts are found in 1 Corinthians 12 and they are there to edify the church and uplift others believers. The Holy Spirit has diverse roles and one role as I mentioned is for protection. You can develop in the spirit by being baptised and by receiving the Holy Spirit through the laying of hands.
The Holy Spirit has many roles, helper, protector, intercessor, advocate, strengthener, standby, comforter, counsellor, baptiser and a sanctifier.
