Please let me know if this sort of post is frowned upon here - I will delete if so.

My partner and I are both a bit older, and although we accept there is a possibility it may never happen naturally, we very much want children.

We are so desperately hoping that 2025 will be our year. If anyone could remember us in their prayers, we would be so grateful.

Thank you 🙏

How old are you both? God will bless you if it's meant for you

FuzzyPuffling · 07/01/2025 12:47

I will remember you in my prayers (and wish you well on a human level too.)

I don't think its selfish to ask for prayers, or to pray for yourself - God will always listen.

Buzzer3555 · 07/01/2025 13:00

I will pray for you

LeaningOnTheEverlastingArms · 07/01/2025 13:23

I will pray for you xx

I will pray for you.

It is only God who can give you this blessing of the womb poppiemango if it is meant to be.

It seems that you have been wanting this for sometime.

I don't know the first thing about you and please if you feel just think over this silently as that is all I would expect you to do. Can I ask what are doing to show commitment to God. This is often important for the giving out of blessings/healings/miracles from God.

I will tell you freely there are ways to try and help yourself if you believe in them. I would say try getting some Holy water that is blessed or ask a minister to bless one for you. Drink it in faith and know it has helped some women with the fruit of the womb. I don't go to this church, but water has clearly helped this woman with childbirth issues as well.

I will gladly say a pray for you in church tomorrow and light a candle also. I am always looking for a third person to add to my prayer requests for me my family and third person or sometimes more five at a stretch.

I wish you welll and blessings from God in your life. I have observed how God's blesses as a teen with the fruit of the womb.

Just remember Sarah and Abraham! If God wishes to bless you then he will. I will certainly send up prayers for you both. x

Have you had medical advice?

Have you had medical advice?

Not yet. I’m trying to get in to see my GP for fertility tests but it’s proving hard to get an appointment. I was thinking about ordering some at-home ones, but there are so many and it’s a bit overwhelming.

Will pray for you

Skye99 · 08/01/2025 22:56

Of course I’ll pray, and I really hope it happens.

I had a baby in my 40s. We both did this pre-conceptual care programme, which according to one study increases the chance of conceiving and also cuts down the chance of anything being wrong with the baby.

Also buy a decent ovulation test kit. 40 is still young and don't be disheartened if you suffer early miscarriages. I had several and still conceived at 42. X

I will pray for you❤️

Poppiemango, I must admit it always feel strange to me praying for someone with a pseudoname but God of course knows who you are and what I have read. So of course he knows your birth name and that you are a child of God.

I must say I was too unwell yesterday to attend as I wanted to for my myself and also to then pray for you and light a candle for your request. Unfortunetly, I had to stay home but I did pray for you at home and also lit a candle for you at home.

Today I was going to go to my childhood church as I missed the service yesterday and I had to go out for myself for a passport photo so doing two in one. I was planning to light the candle for your at my childhood Catholic church which has a beautiful art of mother and child.

My transport though never arrived and I tried going in public transport, but it was too cold so went home.

I had a rest at home and then decided to light a candle for you at my regular church I attend usually on a Wednesday and Sunday. I went out again and I was so elated to see my rector. I told them about your request and that you was asking people to pray for you. They took control of it which I was so glad for and they struck the candle for you and also lit a big candle so two candles for your request. I also again briefly prayed for you at church. I also sent my rector the link to this thread. We are very thankful to have them in the church as well.

I don’t know you and some people when they are seeking something make promises to God. Like, that woman who I linked to her story, she said she would give a testimony if God was to grant her request. Her request was granted God and was meant to be. I will just say if you ever make one like to go do something do try and follow for God for the rest of your life.

We have all joined hands of equal merit each of us on this forum and prayed for you. If is to be your destiny may all our prayers be acceptable to God.

I believe God will want to hear your requests, hopes and dreams. So you should allow yourself to pray for this without feeling it’s selfish. Also, I am praying for you, that you are blessed with a child, and that you feel God’s love and support as you hope for a baby.

Thegreatestoftheseislove · 12/01/2025 06:58

God hears all the prayers and the groaning of the hearts of the Faithful. I hope you receive your heart’s desire according to His Sovereign Will. 🙏
