Does anyone know what this could be

Hi my 20 month old son keeps rolling his eyes upwards. It happens once or twice a day at anytime and lasts around 5 seconds or so. When he does it one eye seems to drive outward. He sometimes scrunches up his face too. His eyesight seems fine he manages to see small things from a distance for example if a small spider was running across the floor he'd see it from across the room. It has been happening for a few months now and at first I thought it was just something he has learned and does it to be silly but now I'm not so sure and starting to get a bit worried about it. I am currently on hold to the GP in hopes to get an appointment about this but I am just wondering if anyone can relate/know what it could be.

If you picked him up, tapped his nose or something would he stop doing it? Does it look like something he's doing or like something that's happening to him? If that makes sense. Most importantly try to get a video for the doctor, that's the most helpful thing.

I'm not sure but I'd try and video it next time, it could be a seizure
