Hi there,

I saw the HV last week for my DD's 1 year development check.

We're having some issues with cows milk at present so we are monitoring her diet. She is not a big eater anyway and although she tries EVERYTHING and likes most things, she is not particularly advanced with eating and doesn't tend to get a lot down her throat - she generally sucks things and throws it on the floor! Hence why she's only 16lb at a year old! (HV not at all worried though as she's generally small but well-covered - my DD, not the HV! )

So while she's getting to grips with it all, HV has suggested giving her some baby vitamins in her water/juice. She did suggest some but I can't remember the name - anyone have any recommendations for any?

Thank you.

Abidec are the vits they give to babies in the SCBU and what my DS has had on prescription since coming home so presume they are as good as any! You can get them off the shelf.

abidec are quite cheap and fulfill you DDs needs.
