DS1 has what look like bites

DS1 has nasty spots on his legs (one in his eyebrow). He also has some kind of sore sweatlike rash in the crack of his bottom

The spots look like bites. How do I tell what they are. Mozzies? Bed bugs? We don't have pets so unlikely to be fleas.

I feel manky!

could be mozzies, has he already had chickenpox?

My ds has chicken pox at the moment. The spots started off looking like bites but are blistering now. Could it be that?

There is a lot of chicken pox about recently but they are developing too slowly.

Have looked on the internet and they do look like flea bites. eeww

How did he get them? Could they be in the bed?

flea bites are concentrated around the ankles. They start off like mozzie bites, then get really hard, last for ages and are the itchiest thing on earth [bitter experience emoticon]

If you haven't got them too, he must have picked them up at someone else's house. Has he been playing somewhere where there are pets? They generally live in carpets and floor cracks and are brought in by animals.

To check whether you have fleas at home, set a flea trap (you can buy them at iron mongers shops)
