Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this really. My dd is 5, 6 in October and in this hot weather she has been quite smelly under her arms.

Haven't said anything to her - obviously - but my mum has noticed it too.

Shall I take her to the doctor? Is there anything I can do?

She is going to a friend's house for tea straight from school next Friday and I don't really want her to go when she may be stinky.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

No. I saw a boy go to the doctor on that health clinic show and he told him he has nothing to worry about. His mum had been taking the mick out of him and the dr told him to tell her she'll just have to deal with it because there's nothing wrong.
Just make sure she has regular baths. I'd boost it to one a day because it's so hot and she should be fine. I wouldnt use any deodrants on her though, she's too young.

Thanks, yes she has a shower every evening and if she is a bit whiffy, i wash under her arms with soap and a flannel when she gets in from school.

If you're still not sure see the Dr. No harm, or call them and ask.
