Milk intollerance?

DS2 was suspected dairy intollerant as a baby. History of lack of weight gain, trouble BFing, mucus nappies etc etc. Never officially tested (they dont seem to now, seem to try eliminating things instead) but at 4m was put on part soya formula (BF partly till 10m) and weaned onto soya milk, soya yogurts, dairy free items etc.

This all worked great. At around 18m, we weaned him off the soya onto standard and all ok.

He's now 2yr 3m and his symptoms seem to have reappeared. The very green, mucusy, wet stools, bad temper, stomach ache.

This has been going on since Wednesday. Have tried kaolin which normally helps small stomach upsets in the kids, but this seems just like his intollerance.

I have bought him soya yogurts, milk etc to make the switch back this weekend. I was hoping he had grown out of it - but does this sound like its possibly going to be a longer term thing now?

He has had a lot of ice cream and milk this last couple of weeks so I'm guessing he is still sensitive to an overload.....
