Reflux & teething? Your experiences?

My DD had severe reflux up until 8months and it finally eased. However I find that everytime she is getting another tooth, she becomes really refluxy again. Has anyone else had this experience? You feel like you are finally turning a corner and then it starts again. It drives me insane!

Am sidetracking totally here but would love your opinion....
We went to the Dr's when she was 7 months and I was nearly in tears about the reflux. I felt there was something more serious behind it and Dr made a referral. The referral has JUST come through now that she is 11 months. Typical! Do I keep the appointment or not? She has other issues which have never been confirmed ie cows milk intolerance v lactose intolerance and I would love to know which it is.

My DS (now 18mths) had very severe reflux and yes it was always worse if he was teething/had a cold etc. He was lactose intollerant and outgrew it, but is still alergic to cows milk protein.

I did have all this confirmed by a private paed but tbh that was where the help stopped. I have had to just experiment with his diet for myself and work out what suits him e.g. he can manage some cows milk and cheese if cooked but I steer clear of just giving him it 'straight'.

I would keep the appointment to see if it is any help, but don't expect it to be the answer to all your problems iyswim?

Oh and I understand the tears, reflux is awful and can really taint the first year.
