My son had his adenoids removed and grommets inserted last week - all fine, seemingly no after effects.
However, pretty much since then his eyes have been changing! It sounds bizarre, but it's probably incorrect to call them sore as most of the time they don't bother him (except when I put drops in, and he rubs them so they swell up!), but thy actually look so 'tired' the shape of his eye is changed, hopefully temporarily,
He looks permanently knackered, and not the wide-eyed child he was before, No other symptoms - sneezing slightly more than usual but nothing major.
Has anyone experienced a reaction to an op like this - could it be the anaesthetic, or do you think the 2 are unrelated. Pharmacist I saw yesterday didn't think hayfever, just dry eyes.
