No to swimming I think.

Lots of handwashing, and for him to try not to touch his eyes. Should start to improve within a couple of days.

No sharing towels or flannels or bathwater

DS is 3 and gets conjunctivitis on a regular basis from his nursery! With the over-the counter drops from the chemist it usually clears up in 24 hours.

It's pretty contageous so I guess not letting DS share any bedding, towels etc might help? Plus getting him to wash his hands? I personally wouldn't go swimming just cos the cholrine in the water could irritate already sensitive eyes.

Conjunctivitis meds for babies have to be prescribed by a GP so if baby gets it you'll have to make an appointment.
