My DD has complained today of being incredibly itchy on closer inspection on her inner thigh she has a red rash with lots of small red dots. She has a few on her arms back and chest too but they're not raised and do not seem to have any fluid in, All the websites say they'll be raised is this right or could she actually have chicken pox?

She is defintly very very itchy though

dd had chicken pox a few weeks ago, tbh it wasnt really a rash - the spots were quite far away from each other and not that small - certainly not dots. do a search on google images and compare

It's when the chicken pox spots start to scab over (i.e. as the blister stage is ending) that they get really itchy. And the vast majority of spots will be on the trunk and head, so I'm going to take a punt and guess that your DD doesn't have the pox although really only time will tell.
