Under-arm thermometer just displaying 'H'

Usually it displays the temp in degrees is it broken?

Glad everything is 'ok' - I never knew about H readings, I am suprised it doesn't say "too high to register" or something, because I wouldn't think anything of a H, I would assume thermometer had broken. Hope he gets better soon x
