Does this sound like just a cold?

DD (8 mths) started with a runny nose on Mon, followed by one session of projectile vomiting on tues and a high temp all of tues & wed.
Took her to docs on wed, he thought just a cold.. since then her temp has come down but she has been sick again a few times after feeds - not every feed but maybe every other and usually bringing the whole lot back up (all over me...nice!)

Does this sound like just a cold or is the vomiting something to be concerned about? Not sure whether to take her back to the docs..
also am a bit concerned that she is not getting enough food/fluid as it keeps coming back up and she hasn't had much appetite for solids (blw so not great intake yet anyway!)

Any insights gratefully received!!!

Keep giving her liquids and light meals; if temp goes to 39C, take her back to docs.

DS has quite a bad sick bug when he was about this age and we ended up taking him to the hospital. Their advice to us was that as long as he was taking in liquid and keeping some of it down he was fine. They advised us to not give him milk as this can exacerbate vomitting but to give him juice with dioralyte in it to help keep him hydrated. HTH

Thanks all for quick replies! Her temp hasn't peaked again (got up to 39.8 the other night which was a bit scary!) so I think it probably is just the mucus swallowing that is making her vomit. Just given her a bit of dioralyte so hopefully she won't get dehydrated.

She is miserable though, poor little thing boiling hot day and she is streaming with snot!
