Hello, I've done a nifty namechange from my usual, because I like my privacy on MN
This arcticle is about a friend of a friend, It is well worth reading, sorry its DM, but awareness really needs to be made on this one.

Thank goodness his Grandma knew what she was looking at when she saw that photo! Please keep it bumped for me ?

Thanks.

bump

thumbwitch · 05/06/2010 01:39

Thank you for posting it - I've bumped it and asked MNHQ to "sticky" it - don't know whether or not they will but since the article has a photo of the child's eye showing what to look for, I think it's very important.

At least this will stay on the recent activity board until morning now.

Ah, glad you fixed the link, I was just about to post when I saw your follow-up, fourisfine

Fourisfine · 05/06/2010 10:37

Thankyou, I thought it was really important too, is there any way it could be publicised a bit more do you think?

If MNHQ are watching this thread, is there anything else you can do?

I suppose you could place a link to the newspaper article in _Chat with a subject like

OK, it is the Daily Mail, but a health issue for children

(it may get the DM haters to keep it bumped!)

Also, as it was quite recent, it would be valid in "In the news" (and you could ask people to point it out if they spot a suitable thread elsewhere).

Thankyou

well, have had the reply from MNHQ and they won't sticky it so we'll have to keep bumping it

fourisfine · 06/06/2010 00:18

Thanks Thumbwitch, I've started another thread as Networkguy suggested Here and at the moment its being bumped along. Thanks for your help
