Dd has had 2nd ear infection in two wks. All hunky and on 2nd antibiotics now. Has swim lessons every wk. Advised to leave for couple of weeks and then use ear plugs and spray ear calm into ears. On the Internet, says not for under 12. She is 3. Has anyone used this product with a small child? Can anyone recommend good ear drops.

My dd has grommets fitted so is not supposed to get water in her ears when swimming. We use the plugs that can be kind of squidged into the ear then ear bands over the top earbands. Have never used any drops, but she hasn't had any water in her ears and so no infections.

We use soggy froggys and the band - ebay, never got water in dds ears, olive oil is usually the best reccomendation for drops BUT not when theres still a risk of the drum being perforated. hth
