Day One in the Half-Term House.

Dh and ds1 are at Cub Camp, PrettyCandles and dd are planning today's outing and more fun-filled activities for the week, while counting ds2's insect bites.

And then the penny drops: they aren't insect bites - ds2 has chickenpox.

Great. I'm stuck at home in rainy weather with one infectious child and one hacked-off child. All outings and visitors cancelled (some of the adults haven't had it). And from Tuesday I'll have two hacked-off dc at home, plus ds2 will probably be out of the poorly-and-subdued stage and well into the stir-crazy stage.

Fingers crossed that he's OK to go to Centre Parcs on Friday!

Well, Candles...we were at Centre Parcs last week, looking at DS1's heat rash. Oh no, not heat rash - chicken pox. It has been hellish since we got home on Friday, with 4 month old DS2 getting fever but no spots (yet). If I have to watch The Incredibles one more time...
