Just seen it described on embarassing bodies and realised that is what he has. It wasn't noticed at birth but have noticed it at bathtime the past few months, especially if he's had a big dinner.

Will it go away as he grows? Poor thing already has an outy from an umbilical hernia.

Is this same as a pigeion chest?

My DS had a friend who said he was born with a pigeon chest.

Same problem - short tendons pulling on the sternum but pigeon chest is when the sternum pops out and funnel chest is when it's pulled in.

I don't think it's particularly noticeable on him unless he's just had a really big dinner. And it wasn't noticeable until a few months ago, am hoping it rights itself.

Anyone have experience of this?
