11 month old often v sweaty

For about the last month or 2, dd2 gets really sweaty when we give her her bottle at night. At first I thought it was just a bit of a temperature, associated with teething, but it's been going on and on. Last night, which was a warm night admittedly, she was absolutely dripping. I can't just ladle calpol into her every night. Anybody know what this is?

I did do a search before starting this thread and it seems that other babies have it, but no explanation was given.

Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

bump for the evening crowd: v sweaty again this eve!

I'm not one of those that bundles up their child unnecessarily, so I don't think she's too hot: she has on a short sleeved vest/body thing (no legs) and a light grobag.

My ds has been a bit like this for his bedtime feed the last few days,

Could you try a cooler bath? This has been the key for us. Lukewarm rather than hot - think swiming pool temp.

If she's sweaty then she is probably too hot - could you put her grobag on after her bottle?

Thanks, Bosoms!

Maybe she is just too hot - I suppose I was looking for a more medical explanation! We do quite a cool bath anyway, but I will try leaving the grobag off until actually putting her down.
