Stained Nappies..... 2yrs old

Good evening!

DS (2yrs old) has been poorly this week with D&V. All better as of lunchtime yesterday.

This evening however, when changing his nappy before bed, there was quite a bit of staining.... yellow/green marks all over the area of the nappy where his penis would sit.

Nothing untowards looking about his penis, and a normal wet nappy bar this staining.

Is this signs of an infection? Do I need to get him checked over again, and would you do it tomorrow or wait for GP on monday?

is it just the one nappy?
how is he in himself?
was he distressed prior to weeing?

If its a one off so far I would watch and wait.

However if he is also unwell in himself - hot, out of sorts etc then I would be inclined to get it checked out sooner rather than later.

Thanks nellie - it is just the one nappy (just before bed) so far, and he is much more himself today than he has been all week (thanks to the D&V bug)

it was all a bit of a shock really!
