DS making himself sick,,, ???

DS just turned 1, has been sticking fingers down his throat for as long as can remember to make himself sick.
Anyone else had this happen with their little one?
Its driving me mad!! have tried to ignore it, tried shouting NO! when/if spot him first attempting. am tempted to try tapping the hand that hes using when/if spot him in time.

My dd (21 months) does this too. Did a while ago and then stopped and has now started again. I think its down to back teeth - I hope so anyway.
That said it distresses me miles more than it does her!
