cough in bed and vomit

5 yr old has had a terrible dry cough usually starts when she falls asleep and cough making her retch. Has had this for almost 2 weeks now (had a cold prior to this but that has gone) last night she vomited with coughing. Any advice thanks

I find with my ds - a spoonful of manuka honey clears a cough better than any cough mixture.

Worth a shot? although it is expensive (around £7 a pot ) IMHO well worth it

Thanks for advice - honey a favourite of hers - she will welcome that! I'll see how that goes.
