Teething - blister?

DS has been cutting a molar for a couple of weeks now. Today I have noticed a big, flappy blister thing where it's coming through. I'm a bit squeamish about mouths so don't want to google too much! He doesn't seem to be in any pain, but I've not seen him eat yet today (he's been with CM). I've not heard of this before - is it normal?

My DD had this with most of her teeth. It caused her no pain and she was fine.

If it is causing a problem go to Docs, otherwise I would leave it.

That's good, thanks - I thought it'd be one of those normal things, but I wanted to make sure he didn't have an infection or something. He does seem otherwise fine with no temp, etc. Thanks

My DD had this too. They're called eruption cysts and it's very common and nothing to worry about (if that's what it is but if you're worried prob better to take her to the dentist rather than the doctor).
