When do you take your baby to the dentist for the 1st time? DD1 is 9mo and 2 bottom incisors through with top ones almost out too.

i think you can just make an appoinment when ever you see fit chick.
maybe just make one the now just so they can have a look at the wee teethies! just to make sure they look ok, they will probably advice you when to bring them back after your first appoinment? x

i took mine when their teeth first came through, so around a year old i think.
we go regularly, just so they are used to going and so far they're all fine with it!

quick question, when should their teeth start coming through? my DD id 7 months and no teeth yet! but drooling for scotland!!x

varies a lot i think! some babies are born with teeth, others don't get them til they're over a year

i think the average is around 6m or somethig for the first teeth, but don't despair if your dd is later than that

Rockbird · 14/05/2010 10:08

DN is 21 months and hasn't a tooth in his head and not a sign of one! So you've got a while before you're oldest baby without teeth material

lol, my god i thought all babies got them around 6monthish!
how to they chew food with nae teeth? lol x

Have you ever been bitten by a toothless child? It bloody hurts! So I don't think most food stands a chance, teeth or no teeth.

samjh · 14/05/2010 10:29
