Does this sound like it could be an anxiety problem ?

Basically last week ds had a stomach bug, with one bout of vomitting and a few days of the runs. I am pretty sue it was a bug because I also felt off, as did dd2.

He was then fine for a couple of days and then on the saturday I had a row with dd1. He seemed fine at the time but about half an hour later when i was putting him to bed, he suddenly said he felt sick again but he was holding his chest not his stomach and said his chest felt funny.

Anyway, he wasn't sick that time and eventually went to sleep.

He went back to school fine on Monday and has been ok since. However this morning he has got up again, eaten his breakfast and then suddenly said he feels sick but again is holding his chest not his stomach.
I sent him into the bathroom where he sat heavy breathing and clutching his chest.

I then took him into my room and asked him if there was anything at all worrying him and he said no. I asked him what the funny feeling felt like and he said it is like fluttering in his throat/chest area.
He then went back into the bathroom and was sick.

I don't know what to think now.On the one hand it could be yet another bug and him thinking he is going to be sick is panicking him, or is he feeling anxious anyway and thats making him sick.

Has anyone got any experience of this ??

Hmm it seems like this may well be another bug actually. He has just been sick again, with no drama beforehand this time.

Has he been any better today, MrsMorgan?
